Question
Two weeks to remove urine stain or just odor?
I am using Urine Destroyer for the second time on some old dog urine stains on light carpet. The first time I made the mistake of using fans. The blotting did pick up some of the stains, but stains remain. The odor is much better! I am confused about the two weeks dry time. Should I see the stains come up right away (ie, do I need to work at them until they're gone?) or could it take two weeks for the stains as well?

Thank you for contacting Natures Miracle. Ideally when you wet the area, saturating well you should take like a small scrub brush and scrub it around the area or even use your fingers to work it through the fibers. Then you would let it sit about 15 minutes or so and gently blot up the surface area and allow it to dry. The up to two weeks part is more geared for odor elimination. And depending on how bad the stains are you may need to do a few treatments.

Question
Yellow stain without odor possible?
I have used Urine Destroyer three times on some pretty difficult stains. (1) I finger rubbed but used a fan to dry. (2) I finger rubbed and left 15 min before blotting. I did pick up quite a bit of yellow stains. (3) I used a stiff bristle brush with long handle in several directions and waited one hour. I picked up some but not all of the yellow stains. I am in week two of the drying. A lot of it feels dry but it has some to go. I still have stains. I don't smell nearly the odor but know I am not not a dog. I planned to put a rug over this area. Is it possible to get a lot of the odor out and still have yellow staining? I don't want them marking my rug. For safety, I will put down runners over my rug for awhile but would like to tackle this before I put my dining room back together. Thanks.

Thank you for contacting Natures Miracle. Depending on the acidity in your dogs Urine yes sometimes a stubborn stain can still remain and may require a few treatment until it fully comes out. At this point I would allow it to fully dry, with no fans, and once dried you can repeat the process again.

Question
How to best treat old stains/smell in subfloor
I recently bought a house that had mostly hardwood flooring. One room was completely destroyed by urine (through the subfloor), so I removed the hardwood and subfloor to replace with all new subfloor.

There were two other questionable rooms with hardwoods (at first I thought I could save them, but ultimately decided to tear those up as well).

Turns out the subfloor in those rooms also has some odor and staining, sort of all over. Definitely not as bad as the first room where I replaced the subfloor. I would like to TREAT this existing, smelly and stained subfloor with your products, then SEAL it, just not sure which product to use.

I know there is one for hard floors, and another that is good for old stains/odors...I wonder which is the best for a subfloor of wooden planks, that has old smells still sitting in it. Thanks!

Thank you for contacting Natures Miracle. Any of our Natures Miracle products can be used in your situation however the Advanced, the one in the red container is definitely our strongest product for your tougher stains and odors. The only thing to keep in mind is that you may need quite a bit of the product and because you have such a large area this can become quite expensive to do. One gallon of the Natures Miracle will cover approximately a 5' x 5' area. The best way to do this is by pouring it on and heavily saturating the effected areas and then allowing at least a full week for it to air dry. At that point you can go ahead and seal it.

Thank you for contacting Natures Miracle. I would try the Natures Miracle Advanced as it is our strongest product however I would recommend doing a color test first as it is an oriental rug and you want to make sure it is color fast. Then this may require several treatments but once you apply, saturate and let sit for a while I would use a scrub brush to work it around the carpet fibers and gently blot it up after it has sat on the rug for a while.

Thank you for contacting Natures Miracle. If you take a wet cloth with some mild dishwashing detergent such as Dawn and in a circuliar motion go around the stain. Let the soap sit for a bit and then take a clean cloth with just water and remove the soap and let it air dry. This will dissipate the stain.

Question
Rug was dirty, do I wash after dry.
We have discovered that our very old cat has been peeing on a shag throw rug and on our hardwood floor. My husband rinsed it with water first. I used NM Advanced on the throw rug. Do I rinse it out, or do I let it dry first, then launder it? (It needed to be washed anyway). I will try to find the hard floor cleaner for the floor, or can I use the Advanced?

Thank you for contacting Natures Miracle. If the rug needs to be laundered the best thing to do would be to put it in your machine add the natures miracle to it along with your detergent and run it through the wash. The will take care of both issues for you.

Question
Carpet Sanitation and Children Safety
My dog recently has had diarrhea. I've cleaned it with resolve and then some Pine Sol. However, a carpet cleaner just told me to use Nature's Miracle. I'd first of all like to know which product is best. The stain is not visible as my carpet is grainy colored and hard to see any type of stain. But I want to apply the Nature's Miracle to sanitize and clean the area. I'd like to know which product is best to use. However, my biggest concern is which product is safe for pets and especially children. I have a toddler and infant who are on the carpet all the time.

Thank you for contacting Natures Miracle. All of our products are non-toxic however that being said none of them are disinfectants. They are stain and odor removers only, if you are looking to use them for sanitizing then our product is not the one to use and I would recommend going to your local home center or supermarket or even Walmart type store for a product like that.

Question
when can i use a cleaner/disinfectant or sanitizer on an area after i have soaked it with nature's miracle?
hello,

my cat just pooped on my floor. :( having removed the feces and soaking the area with your product, when is it okay to use a cleaner/disinfectant/sanitizer? i understand "stain & odor remover just for cats" is not a disinfectant/cleaner nor sanitizer.

thanks in advance.

Thank you for contacting Natures Miracle. I would wait until the usage of the Natures Miracle has completely air dried before putting a disinfectant on the area and you need to be careful as well as to not cause a chemical reaction.

Question
Can I use Nature's Miracle if I have already soaked in soap?
I have cat urine on my thick double faced white linen bedspread. It was dry when I found it. I rinsed the area with hot water and soap. Then I realized I should have used Nature's Miracle. Is it too late? Should I wash it first and then use Nature's Miracle when it is dry? It is a $400 bedspread, so I want to clean it properly. Thank you.

Thank you for contacting Natures Miracle. You do not mention if the bedspread is machine washable but if it is, I would put it into your machine and add approximately a cup to a cup and a half of Natures Miracle along with your laundry detergent and run the cycle. This should take care of the problem.
