Our cat soiled several cushions that were resting on an unpainted/unsealed brick surface and the odor is now in the brick and the mortar itself.

Is Nature's Miracle safe to use on an oriental carpet?

Cat urine. The rug has been professionally cleaned by the oriental rug store which sold it to me. However, the cat urine smell is still around. Nature's miracle did get rid of the odor on my regular wall-to-wall carpet so I am eager to try it on the oriental rug. The rug came form Iran and is about 10 years old.

What product do you recommend to get rid of the cat urine odor that is old?

Should I use Advanced formula or the one for cat urine or something else? My cat urinated on my oriental rug. It has been professionally cleaned but I can still smell the cat urine. This happened more than once and months ago - 6 - months to a year possibly.

This product can only be used on hard surfaces.

We have not tested the regular Nature's Miracle on that type of surface. I would suggest you find out from the manufacturer what is safe to clean that surface
