Oh no! I hope she is feeling better. I wish I had more help for you, but unfortunately Nature's Miracle products should not be used on leather. I would recommend checking with your car's manufacturer to find out their recommended cleaning method. Good luck!

I HAVE used this product successfully on a microfiber couch to remove the smell. However, it does take the color off, so you don't want to blot it if you can avoid it.

The way I used it was to saturate the urine stain with the product and then cover it with a plastic sheet for a few days. After a few days, I took the cover off to let it dry and the smell gradually disappeared. The whole process took about a week, but it definitely worked better than any other product I've used.

Hi Rayna -

I'm sorry, but we do not recommend using Nature's Miracle on leather or suede. Since microfiber is in the suede family, I can't recommend using it on that either. You might want to contact the manufacturer or a professional leather cleaner for help. Good luck!

Question
stray feral cat
Hi I've been having a stray cat get into my basement over a period of about 3 weeks spraying and urinating seemingly everywhere. I believe I have gotten rid of the cat as of 4 days ago but even after using Nature's Miracle Advanced over a large area, the awful smell is still permeating the house. it seems to come up thru the ventilation system. It is worse sometimes than others but esp when it is raining.Perahps I am missing the spot where he sprayed? Could it be coming from outside? Black light didn't show anything. If he got into the ceiling insulation and sprayed in there, will it ever go away? Please help- I cannot believe the level of anxiety this problem can produce!

Question
Cat urine removal from carpet
I've applied a couple doses of Just for Cats™ Stain & Odor Remover to my carpet and there is still some oder. I don't think I got all of the urine areas with the first application. The oder seems to have been reduced after the applications, but it's not good enough yet. Is it safe to apply Just for Cats™ Urine Destroyer after waiting two weeks from the application of Just for Cats™ Stain & Odor Remover? Is it recommended to do this or should I continue to use the first product?

Can/should I rinse/shampoo the carpet two weeks after the application? If so, can I use any type of shampoo?

Note: The only thing I did not follow on the label is the part where I should soak up the excess after applying the solution. Is this a critical step?

Note2: The carpet is about 2 yrs old. I believe the pad is premium Stainmaster with oder guard.

Thank you for your e-mail regarding our product.

After waiting two weeks if there is still some odor you can re-apply the product. You can ust the Urine Destroyer if you would like to.

You do not want to soak up any of the product it would not work as well.

You can shamppo the carpet after it is fully dry

Question
Should the carpeted area still have an odor while drying?
My newly adopted cat peed in a carpeted corner. I saturated the corner with Nature's Miracle Urine Destroyer Just for Cats. There is still a prominent odor of cat urine, now mixed chemical odor. Is this typical while drying????
Many, many thanks!

Danielle

Question
How long does it take for Urine Destroyer to clear odor?
I found an area where my cat had been urinating in my carpet. I pulled up the carpet, cut out the padding and threw it away (I will replace it later), and cleaned the concrete flooring very well. The only urine spots I need to clean are in the carpet itself. I have used the Just for Cats Urine Destroyer and soaked all of the areas that have urine on them. I know it may take up to 2 weeks to dry, but when can I expect the odor of urine to be gone? I poured the solution on the areas about 3 hours ago, and there definitely is an improvement, but if I get down close to the carpet and smell, I can still smell the ammonia from the urine.

Dear Ellence:

Hard wood is certainly going to dry much faster than fabric or carpet. We would recommend after saturating the affected area on the hardwood floor, allowing that area to totally dry out for at least 2-3 days. Then assess your situation. If residual odor remains, we would suggest retreating the area. If we can help with anything further, feel free to contact us.
