My Pekingese has long hair, I like to keep it that way for the winter months because it gets quite cold in Upstate NY. Unfortunately from being outside in the snow, playing with the kids, etc. he frequently has mats and tangles. I sometimes spend hours brushing/combing him and it I can see he is not happy with me. The minute he sees the brush he hides! What can I do to make grooming easier for him?
