Question
How do I stop a kitten from using the bathroom (feces) in the same area?
It's a male kitten 13 weeks old, uses the litter box but goes #2 on the carpet continuously. I've used several products to remove the stain/smell to try to keep him from going back to the same area but he still continues to do so. We have a female kitten around the same age not from the same litter but from the same rescuer, and two litter boxes. Please help.

Dear Marie,

Your kitten is still smelling residual feces in that area and that's why he continues to return. When using our product, we recommend that you shake the bottle well and thoroughly saturate that area on the carpet. It will intensify the smell of feces while it's working so either keep the kitten out of that area while it's drying or cover the treated area with a sheet of tin foil with holes poked in for ventilation. Cats don't like the sound of feel of tin foil under their paws.

Thank you for your interest in our product. It should be at Petco. You can ask the manager of the store to order it for you. Care-A-Lot pet supply catalog also carries the product and can be ordered by calling 800-343-7680.

Hi Sparty -

Yes, Nature's Miracle products are non-toxic to animals and humans. However, if you are treating to remove urine or feces, we do recommend you keep the animal away from the treated area until it is completely dry, to prevent repeat messes.

Question
Can you use this product on carpeted areas?
We have adopted a little dachschund and he is a repeat marking offender! All over my house, I'm finding spots that we didn't know about. I'm going to treat with the Urine Destroyer first, but I don't want him going back.

Is it OK to use No More Marking after the Urine Destroyer?

Also, is there any reason I can't use the No Mark as a preventative in areas that he has NOT soiled yet? I'd really like to keep the marking OUT of my house!

Hi Rags - Yes, you can use No More Marking after treating with the Urine Destroyer. However, you don't want to spray it liberally around the house as a preventative, because your dog will get used to the scent and it will no longer be effective.

How long does the "prevention" work?
Once I spray an area with this product, do I need to reapply it to the same area again in the future? Does the "repellant" fade over time?

Question
How to repel both neighborhood dogs & cats
Neighborhood dogs use the mulch in our grandkids' playground as their litter box. The cats use our carport's gravel as their depository. Which of your products can be used to repel both of these local animal types? Also need it to clean up their markings.

Hi Tecdad -

That sounds like quite a problem. I wish I could be more help, but we do not recommend Nature's Miracle products for outdoor use, as any sort of precipitation will quickly wash it away. You may want to check with your local landscaping or gardening center to see if they have any suggestions. Good luck!

Question
How can i stop my dog from "going" on the pool cover?
My Dog stays out by my pool. She has her own area to take care of business, but lately she has decided to use the pool cover as her potty. Are your products safe to use on vinyl? What "fabrics" are not safe to use your products on?
Thank you!

Hi there - I'm sorry, but we do not recommend using Nature's Miracle outside, particularly on a surface that is likely to get wet like a pool cover. Any sort of precipitation will wash the product away and make it ineffective. I'm sorry I can't be more help! I would suggest checking with your local pool supply company to see if they have any ideas.

Hi again -

Yes, Nature's Miracle is safe to use on vinyl; however, it may not be effective because vinyl is not a porous surface and there's nothing for the product to soak into. Also, if it gets wet from the pool water, it will wash off and become ineffective.

I wish I could be more help! Good luck.
